		<description>This can only be a good thing for us punters.  Not because of the effect it should have on Nividia's and ATI's products, but because it should teach the whole 'gaming' industry that they're expected to play by the rules, just like everyone else.  The 'gaming' consumer has spent too long at the crappy end of the stick, it's time for some equilibrium....or would parity be a more appropriate geeky word ;)</description>

		<description>£300 is still too much these days.  The 4870 will be around £160 soon enough and that seems to be 'top of the range' enough for most people.

It doesn't seem that long since the 9800 series was new.  Anyone who's upgraded to a recent card in the last 12 months is unlikely to fork out for a new card....maybe £120 for the extra poke the 4850 provides over current cards on the market, and even that's probably pushing it.</description>
