Online gaming boom
Market research firm DFC Intelligence has issued a new Online Game Market Forecast, which shows online game revenue passed $7 billion in 2007. That figure, which doesn’t include retail sales, is set to reach $19 billion by 2013. Those figures will, of course, depend on whether or not the entire planet gets sucked into a financial hole (wasn’t life much simpler when we temporarily worried about CERN creating a black hole?). But when you take into account that the PC Gaming Alliance estimates there are currently 263 million online PC gamers, you do have to wonder why people continue to say the PC market is dead or dying. From where we are sitting, it seems very much alive and kicking.

pc gaming is a real gamers machine. If you are a true gamer and want the best game ever pc is where to go.
People who are saying pc gaming is dying don’t have a clue and are dumb. If pc gaming ever dies so does all gaming. If there is a lack of pc gamers to buy the hardware. The price of console will go up, why is that because pc gamers are the people buy the great hardware to play their games. Less people to buy hardware the greater the price on hardware supply and demand come in to play.
Pc gaming is the ulamate gaming machine in the world. If you don’t own a pc gaming rig. Your not a true gamer! If pc gaming dies so does all gaming all die.
What will sony, nintendo and micro soft do if the price of hardware goes up! What if the hardware comapnies get piss of or mad. They don’t sell their hadrware! They would just stop giving their hardware to console makers. Gaming is nothing with pc gaming.

Pc gaming has all the indie game devs and also there just more game devs that make games for pc gaming than console.

I think you also hear about pc gaming dying alot because sony,micro soft and nintendo would love to see pc gaming die. It means they would have more control over the gaming industry.
